Science Teacher Required - September start- long-term 1 year contract
KS2-KS5,. QTS required. Main Pay Scale to Upper Pay Scale (dependent on qualifications and experience)

An exceptional SEN school in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Science Teacher with a specialist in Physics and Chemistry to join their team from September 2026 on a 1-year long-term placement.

The Role

As a Part-Time Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging KS3 & KS4 Science, specialising in Physics and Chemistry
  • Adapt and differentiate learning for students with ASD and complex needs
  • Work closely with experienced TAs to support engagement and progress
  • Deliver practical, accessible and hands-on Science lessons
  • Support both academic progress and social-emotional development
  • Contribute to a calm, structured and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physics and/or Chemistry
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3/KS4 (SEN experience highly desirable)
  • A calm, patient and adaptable teaching style
  • Confidence supporting learners with ASD and additional needs
  • A passion for inclusive education and making Science accessible to all learners
