Job Description

Behaviour Mentor - Towcester
Tradewind Recruitment

Tradewind Recruitment are working with an Alternative Provision setting in Towcester who are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience supporting students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, or someone who is confident working with pupils who may display challenging behaviour. You will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them to engage with learning and develop positive behaviours.

The position will involve working closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, managing behaviour, and building strong, trusting relationships with pupils. You will need to be calm, resilient, and consistent in your approach, with the ability to de-escalate situations and support students in a positive way.

Previous experience working with children or young people is essential, ideally within a school, PRU, or similar setting. Experience supporting SEMH needs or challenging behaviour would be highly beneficial.

This is a full-time role, offering a great opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive and rewarding environment.
