Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Supply Basis)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a well-established trust of schools in the Chesterfield area. This is a flexible, supply-based opportunity, ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and are passionate about supporting pupils across different educational settings.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will be placed in a range of primary and/or secondary schools within a multi-academy trust, providing vital support to teachers and pupils on a day-to-day and short-term basis.

Your duties may include:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management
  • Preparing learning resources and supporting lesson delivery
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, progress, and wellbeing
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Have previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Be flexible, reliable, and confident adapting to different school environments
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Show a genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
