A well-regarded Secondary School in Bury is seeking to appoint a dedicated and knowledgeable GCSE German Speaking Examiner to join their team on an immediate basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional with strong subject expertise in German to support students during a crucial stage of their assessment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing GCSE German speaking examinations, ensuring that all assessments are conducted fairly, consistently, and in line with exam board criteria. You will be working closely with the MFL department to support the smooth delivery of the speaking exam process.
Key requirements:
- Recent and relevant experience working within a school or educational setting is essential - applications from candidates without this background will not be considered
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE German curriculum and assessment criteria
- Experience teaching German up to Key Stage 4
- Excellent spoken and written German
Desirable:
- Native German speaker
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Modern Foreign Languages
- Previous experience conducting or supporting speaking examinations
