Full-Time Core Subject Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Secondary Schools across Bromley
Start: Immediate / Ongoing Opportunities

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable individual with a strong academic background in Maths, English, or Science? Do you have experience supporting students in a secondary school setting and a genuine commitment to helping young people succeed?

We are seeking a dedicated and capable Core Subject Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work full-time (5 days per week) across a range of welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools in Bromley.

The Role:
As a Core Subject LSA, you will play a key role in supporting students across Maths, English, and Science. You will work closely with teachers to deliver targeted support, help raise attainment, and ensure students are fully engaged in their learning. This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support across core subjects (Maths, English, Science)
  • Work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to reinforce learning
  • Assist in delivering tailored interventions to support student progress
  • Support students with varying academic abilities and learning needs
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create an inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a secondary school setting is essential
  • Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject (Maths, English, or Science)
  • A degree is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach
