EYFS / KS1 Teacher - Maternity Cover - Full Time
Start Date: September 2026 - July 2027
Location: Southwark, London
Salary: M1-M6 (Inner London Pay Scale)

SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a high-performing primary school in Southwark to recruit an experienced EYFS or KS1 teacher for a maternity cover position starting in September 2026 until July 2027.

The leadership team is supportive yet ambitious, and they are seeking a teacher who can maintain and build on the school's strong outcomes.

The Role:

• Full-time maternity cover within EYFS or Key Stage 1 (year group dependent on experience)
• Planning and delivering consistently high-quality lessons
• Upholding high expectations for behaviour, presentation, and attainment
• Using assessment effectively to drive pupil progress
• Contributing positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have proven experience teaching in EYFS or KS1 - ideally confident with delivering Little Wandle
• Demonstrate strong classroom practice and a track record of good or outstanding teaching
• Have high expectations and a commitment to maintaining standards
• Be confident, organised, and adaptable
• Be able to hit the ground running in a well-established setting

Please note: Unfortunately this role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
