Caretaker - Primary School (Sheffield S3)

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Caretaker to join a welcoming primary school in the Sheffield S3 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable, part-time role within a supportive school environment, with the potential to move onto a permanent contract.

Role Details:

Location: Sheffield S3
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm (25 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Ongoing with the potential to become permanent

Key Responsibilities:

General maintenance and upkeep of the school premises
Ensuring the school environment is safe, clean, and well-presented
Carrying out basic repairs and reporting any larger issues
Supporting with health and safety checks and compliance
Assisting staff with site-related needs where required

Important Information:

There is no expectation to open or close the building
This is an open vacancy, offering the opportunity to move onto a school contract for the right candidate

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a caretaker or site supervisor (ideally within a school setting)
Good practical maintenance skills
A proactive and reliable approach to work
Understanding of health and safety procedures
