SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of an excellent primary school in Havering (Hornchurch). They are looking for a teaching assistant to work in the early years/reception.
The role will be a mix of 1:1 work (supporting students with Autism), and general teaching assistant.
The role:
- Supporting children with learning through play and structured activities
- Assisting with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development
- Encouraging positive social and emotional development
- Helping to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting with observations and monitoring pupil progress
- Promoting children's confidence, independence, and wellbeing
About you:
- Would ideally hold a minimum CACHE Level 3 early years qualification ie be a qualified nursery nurse/early years professional
- Must exhibit patience, empathy, and strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must have previous experience working within the early years (nursery/reception)
- Must have previous experience working with SEN/Autism
