SEN Teacher

Primary Music Teacher - SEN School
Bow | Part-Time or Full-Time

We are excited to recruit a talented and nurturing Music Teacher to work with primary-aged pupils with complex needs in our specialist SEN school in Bow.

This role is ideal for a teacher who believes music can transform communication, confidence, and emotional wellbeing for children with additional needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver sensory and interactive music lessons
• Adapt music activities for pupils with autism and severe learning difficulties
• Use music to support communication and engagement
• Organise small performances and enrichment opportunities
• Work collaboratively with class teams and therapists

We are looking for:

• A qualified teacher or experienced music specialist
• Experience working with SEND pupils preferred
• Creativity, flexibility, and a calm, nurturing approach
• Knowledge of sensory curriculum approaches advantageous
