A welcoming and supportive school in the Tendring area is looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September 2026. This role is particularly well suited to an aspiring teacher who is keen to gain hands-on classroom leadership experience, develop confidence delivering learning, and build strong foundations for future progression in education.

You will play an important role in supporting learning, leading activities, and helping pupils thrive in a positive and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead learning activities and deliver planned sessions when required
  • Support teaching and learning across the school
  • Work with small groups and individual learners to support progress
  • Assist with preparation, planning, and classroom organisation
  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and a love of learning
