Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of primary schools in the Chesterfield area.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, aspiring teachers, or education professionals looking for flexible work within supportive and welcoming school environments.
The Role
As a KS2 Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stage 2, working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support where needed. Assignments may include:
- General classroom support
- Small group interventions
- 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting literacy and numeracy activities
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supply work offers flexibility to suit your availability, whether you are looking for daily cover, short-term placements, or longer-term opportunities.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
- Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
- Are confident supporting pupils within KS2
- Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Are adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to apply for one)
