Do you enjoy working with children and making a positive difference every day?
We are looking for caring, patient, and reliable Behaviour Buddies to support pupils within a welcoming SEN school on the Wirral. This role is ideal for somebody who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them feel safe, encouraged, and ready to learn.
No formal qualifications are required - just the right attitude, resilience, and willingness to support young people who may need extra guidance throughout the school day.
The Role:
- Supporting children with additional learning and behavioural needs
- Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Helping pupils stay engaged with learning and routines
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Building strong, supportive relationships with students
We're Looking For:
- A calm, patient, and positive approach
- Experience working with children or vulnerable people is desirable but not essential
- Someone reliable, adaptable, and able to work as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
