Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a Year 5 Primary Teacher on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry school located in the borough of Barnet.

This London based primary school are looking to appoint a strong Primary Teacher to join their KS2 team from September 2026 for a one-year mat cover opportunity. This part time role will involve working in a year 5 class with full class responsibilities.

About the role:

Prepare and deliver KS2 lessons
Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
Work alongside the Classroom TA to ensure lessons are effective
Differentiate learning materials to ensure each pupil benefits
Attend weekly staff meetings

Requirements:

Must have UK recognised QTS
Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning
Have a willingness to enhance the school's ethos
Able to work effectively with colleagues, children and external agencies
Must be available full-time and long-term from September
