SEND & PRU Support Staff Required

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting dedicated Support Staff to work within PRUs, alternative provisions, and SEND schools supporting children and young people with additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a genuine difference every day while helping pupils build confidence, regulate emotions, and re-engage with learning.

The Role:

As a Support Worker, Teaching Assistant, or Behaviour Mentor, you may support pupils with:

  • SEMH needs

  • Autism and ADHD

  • Trauma and attachment difficulties

  • Challenging behaviours

  • Communication and learning difficulties

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide structure, encouragement, and targeted support both inside and outside of the classroom.

We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people

  • Backgrounds in SEND, PRU, youth work, care, coaching, or mental health support are highly valued

  • Calm, adaptable, and resilient individuals

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
