We are currently working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Corby seeking to appoint a talented Music Teacher from either June or September 2026. The school is open to considering permanent appointments, though long-term supply or fixed-term contracts will also be considered for the right candidate. Full-time and part-time applications are both welcomed.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching opportunities
  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum including performance, composition, listening, and appraisal
  • Incorporate practical learning, instruments, and music technology into lessons to maximise engagement
  • Prepare students for GCSE Music assessments and coursework where applicable
  • Encourage participation in school productions, concerts, ensembles, choirs, and extracurricular activities
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that builds confidence and creativity
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school through performances and enrichment opportunities

Who We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS or QTLS
  • Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
  • Confident delivering engaging lessons across a range of musical disciplines and abilities
  • Comfortable using music technology and digital learning platforms within the classroom
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire learners
  • Passionate about promoting creativity, performance, and musical appreciation
  • Open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced Music practitioners
