Early Years Educator - Full Time - Islington - September 2026 Start

A wonderful and welcoming primary school based in the heart of Islington is looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their EYFS team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Early Years professional who is committed to supporting children during the early stages of their development within a nurturing and engaging environment.

Early Years Educator - The Role:

* Full-time position, Monday to Friday
* Working hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm
* September 2026 start
* Pay: £100-£115 per day PAYE
* Long-term opportunity within a supportive primary school

The ideal candidate will:

* Hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent/higher Early Years qualification)
* Have previous experience working within a nursery or primary school setting
* Have strong experience supporting EYFS children
* Have experience supporting children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD or speech and language needs
* Be proactive, nurturing and able to use their initiative within the classroom
* Deliver high-quality Early Years practice and create engaging learning opportunities

Main responsibilities will include:

* Supporting children's learning and development across the EYFS curriculum
* Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities
* Supporting children with the transition into Reception class
* Delivering play-based and structured learning activities
* Supporting pupils with SEND through targeted interventions and classroom support
* Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
* Observing, monitoring and recording children's progress
* Supporting behaviour management and promoting positive social development
* Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
