Tradewind Recruitment are pleased to be working with this Client, a highly successful and inclusive secondary school based in Southwark, who are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their thriving Humanities department from September. This is a full-time Permanent / Fixed Term opportunity offering a salary on the London MPS/UPS scale, with interviews to be arranged immediately.

The successful candidate will join a well-established Humanities department and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school is seeking a passionate educator who can inspire curiosity about the world and support students in achieving excellent outcomes.

The role will include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students
Teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4
Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress effectively
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
Contributing to curriculum development within the Humanities department
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement
Participating fully in departmental and whole-school initiatives

The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level
Be committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning
Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
Be dedicated to supporting student progress and wellbeing
Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team
