SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a welcoming and high-performing primary school in Barnet who are seeking a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2026.

The school are looking for a committed Key Stage 2 practitioner who can confidently lead a Year 6 class and support pupils through their final year of primary education.

The Role

The school are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, prepare pupils for SATs, and support their transition to secondary school.

Responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
* Preparing pupils for SATs with confidence and clear structure
* Assessing and tracking pupil progress, implementing targeted interventions
* Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with the Year 6 team and wider KS2 staff
* Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
* Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2
* Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A proactive and positive attitude
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Good organisational skills
* A genuine passion for teaching and learning
