Teacher of Music -

A welcoming secondary setting is looking to appoint an energetic and talented Teacher of Music to join its successful Performing Arts department.

The school has a strong commitment to creativity and enrichment, with music playing a central role in school life.

Situated in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, the school provides students with a broad and engaging curriculum alongside excellent extra-curricular opportunities.

The successful applicant will teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 while supporting concerts, performances and enrichment activities throughout the academic year.

This opportunity would suit someone who is passionate about practical music-making and committed to inspiring students of all abilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Music lessons
  • Encourage participation in performances and extracurricular activities
  • Support students in developing both practical and theoretical understanding
  • Create an inclusive classroom culture where creativity can flourish
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Performing Arts faculty

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold UK QTS or a recognised equivalent qualification
  • Have experience teaching Music within a secondary environment
  • Be enthusiastic, creative and organised
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Have a genuine passion for student engagement and achievement
