Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons that inspire pupils and foster a love for problem-solving.
Plan, prepare, and assess curriculum content in line with school and national GCSE/A-Level standards.
Track student progress and implement effective interventions to support diverse mathematical abilities.
Contribute actively to the wider life of our independent school community, including STEM initiatives or extracurricular clubs.
Maintain excellent classroom management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
A degree in Mathematics or a strongly related STEM discipline.
The ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice or show outstanding potential (for ECTs).
A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous professional growth within a Maths department.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues alike.
