Location: Haringey
Pay: £16-£18 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026

A welcoming secondary school in Haringey is seeking a reliable Caretaker to join their site team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security and presentation of the school site, ensuring a safe environment for students, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and locking the school site
  • Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance
  • Monitoring health and safety compliance
  • Setting up rooms for school events and examinations
  • Liaising with contractors and external visitors

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous caretaker, facilities or site assistant experience
  • Good practical maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
