SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and well-regarded primary school situated on the Lewisham and Greenwich border in the recruitment of a Year 3 Class Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing until April 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher who has successfully completed their ECT induction and is looking to join a supportive school community with high expectations and a strong commitment to pupil achievement and wellbeing.

The Role:

  • Full responsibility for a Year 3 class.
  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethos.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Successfully completed ECT induction.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Lower KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • A positive, enthusiastic and reflective approach to teaching.

Salary:

  • Inner London Main Pay Scale M3 to Upper Pay Scale 1 (UPS1), dependent on experience.
