Primary Class Teachers - South London
Full-Time | Start: September 2026 | Salary: Inner London M1 - UPS1 (£38,766 - £60,092)

SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Lambeth, Croydon, Merton and Sutton who are seeking enthusiastic and committed Primary Class Teachers for September starts.

These schools offer supportive leadership teams, strong behaviour systems and a clear focus on raising attainment, inclusion and pupil wellbeing. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.

The Role:

  • Full class teaching responsibility across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and attainment
  • Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
  • Differentiating learning to support SEND, EAL and higher-attaining pupils
  • Delivering targeted interventions to support pupil progress and close gaps
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers
  • Contributing to the wider school community and enrichment activities
  • Upholding safeguarding, behaviour and school policies at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in a primary school setting (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A creative, reflective and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and pupil progress
