SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT - Birkenhead (Wirral)

A primary school in Birkenhead is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 7-11 with ASD, ADHD and complex needs.

You will be working across 1:1 support and small group interventions, supporting EHCP targets, communication needs, and emotional regulation. The role requires a calm, consistent approach and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils. Experience of working with children with additional needs is essential.

Start date: 2nd September 2026
End date: 19th December 2026 (with potential extension)
