SEN Teaching Assistants

Location: Islington

Start Date: Immediate Start

Contract: Full Time Cover or Daily Cover - Term Time Only

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make an impact in a vibrant SEN School community within The London Borough of Islington? Tradewind are seeking confident, motivated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants and 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to joining a friendly staff team at an SEN School in Islington.

As a Teaching Assistant across the school, you will;

  • Support learning activities across the school including whole class cover when required
  • Support teachers in planning, preparation and assessment
  • Deliver Target Interventions to help pupils progress
  • Work closely with children of varying abilities including those with SEN
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment
  • Support students on a 1:1 basis

We would love to hear from you if you;

  • Have at least 1 years experience supporting students with SEN
  • Have strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Are confident with leading groups
  • Are passionate about supporting children's learning
  • Work collaboratively as a team
