1:1 Teaching Assistant (Year 5)

Location: NG17
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time

A primary school in the NG17 area is looking to appoint a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This role requires someone who can provide consistent support both emotionally and academically, helping the child reach their full potential.

The Role:

• Delivering 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil
• Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons
• Supporting emotional regulation and confidence building
• Collaborating with teachers and SEN staff to implement strategies

What We're Looking For:

• A nurturing and resilient individual with a calm approach
• Experience in a school setting or working with children
• Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
• A genuine passion for supporting children's development
