The Role

As an SEMH Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO, therapists and external agencies to provide outstanding support.
  • Track pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Inspire confidence, independence and a love of learning in every child.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching in Primary or SEND settings, or a genuine passion for inclusive education.
  • Can confidently differentiate learning for pupils with a range of additional needs.
  • Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Is patient, compassionate and committed to helping every child succeed.
  • Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
