SEN Teaching Assistant - Reception - Camden

Location: Camden, North London
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

A supportive and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for children with speech, language, and communication needs.

The role will involve working with individual pupils and small groups, supporting communication development, language-rich learning activities, and early social interaction skills within the classroom environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working within Early Years or Key Stage 1.

• Be confident supporting speech and language development.

• Have a nurturing and engaging approach.

• Work effectively alongside teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals.

• Be passionate about helping young children achieve their potential.

This role would suit an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist, teacher, or an experienced Teaching Assistant.
