Teacher of Music - September 2026 Start
1-Term Fixed Contract (with potential extension)
An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in South London is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Music to join their team from September 2026. This is a fixed-term position for one term initially, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.
The Role
You will deliver engaging and creative Music lessons across Key Stages, inspiring students of all abilities to develop their performance, composition, and appreciation skills. The department is well-resourced, and the school places strong value on the arts as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.
What We're Looking For
  • A qualified teacher holding QTS or an equivalent overseas qualification recognised by UK NARIC
  • A strong subject specialist with a genuine passion for Music education
  • Someone who can create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • A team player committed to high standards and student progress

Salary
  • M1 to UPS3, depending on experience and current position on the pay scale
