Responsibilities
As a Secondary Teacher working with Tradewind Recruitment, you will:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Plan and prepare lessons where required for longer-term assignments.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress where appropriate.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams.
- Maintain accurate records and provide feedback when required.
Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within UK secondary schools (placements considered for ECTs).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind Recruitment).
- The right to work in the UK.
