Do you have experience supporting children with complex additional needs?

An excellent secondary school in Islington is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a student requiring full-time personal and educational assistance.

Duties Include

• Supporting entry and exit from school each day
• Full personal care and toileting support
• Feeding assistance during breaks and lunchtime
• Following strict allergy management procedures
• Supporting engagement within lessons
• Liaising with teaching staff and SEN professionals
• Promoting independence and confidence

Working hours are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Experience working with SEND
• A caring and proactive nature
• Confidence supporting intimate care
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to build trusting relationships
• Commitment to a full academic year
