Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of supportive primary schools across Luton looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.
Whether you're experienced in supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs or other additional needs, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact every single day.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Helping children stay engaged, build confidence and achieve their individual targets
- Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored learning support
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils' social and emotional development
- Creating a calm, inclusive environment where every child can succeed
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs
- Is patient, resilient and enjoys building positive relationships
- Can adapt their approach to meet individual learning needs
- Works well as part of a team and uses their own initiative
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is happy to apply for one
