Job Description
Are you a qualified Maths teacher with a passion for pi, percentages, and puzzling out problems? Tradewind Recruitment in Manchester is looking for talented Maths teachers for long-term supply roles starting in September.
Whether you're ready to multiply your classroom impact or simply want greater flexibility in your career, we've got the perfect formula for you.
Why Choose Long-Term Supply Teaching with Tradewind? It All Adds Up:
- Competitive Pay Rates - We offer rates that really count. You're worth every penny.
- Meaningful Teaching Roles - Enjoy the continuity of teaching your own classes, building relationships with students, and making a real difference.
- Less School Politics - Focus on what you do best: teaching. Leave behind unnecessary meetings, committees, and many of the extra responsibilities that come with permanent roles.
- No Ofsted Pressures - Teach with confidence without the additional pressures often placed on permanent staff during inspections.
- Flexible Career Choices - Gain valuable experience across a range of schools while maintaining greater control over your career.
- Regular Local Work - We work with schools across Greater Manchester, helping you find roles close to home.
- Pathways to Permanent Roles - If you find the right school, today's supply placement could become tomorrow's permanent position.
- Direct Payroll Team - No umbrella companies or third-party deductions. Just accurate, prompt weekly pay.
- Free CPD - Access over 2,500 CPD courses through The National College to continue developing your skills.
- Simple Online Timesheets - Easy-to-use online portal so getting paid is straightforward.
Please note: As a long-term supply teacher, you will be responsible for planning, marking and delivering high-quality lessons, just like permanent teaching staff. The difference is that you'll spend more of your time teaching and less on wider school commitments outside the classroom.
We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Overseas Police Checks (where applicable) and professional references
- A full CV covering education and employment history, with any gaps explained
- The legal right to work in the UK
Whether you're an algebra ace, statistics star or geometry genius, we'd love to help you find your next opportunity.
