Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next permanent opportunity from September 2026?
A friendly and well-established primary school in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, within easy reach of Enfield and North London, is seeking a talented Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team from the start of the new academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive school where high-quality teaching, staff wellbeing and pupil achievement are at the heart of everything they do. Please note that this role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The Role
As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child can achieve their potential.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including staff meetings, CPD and school initiatives.
- Take on subject leadership responsibilities where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent and successful experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 3.
- Strong classroom management and excellent organisational skills.
- A passion for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
- A commitment to inclusion and ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential.
- A positive, collaborative approach and the desire to play an active role within the school community.
