Secondary schools across Chelmsford are inviting enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join as Cover Teachers starting in September 2026. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in a range of different great schools in the local area. Experienced Teachers to ECT's are welcome to apply for this role.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Delivering planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Supporting students' academic progress and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day
• Maintaining a calm, positive classroom environment and managing behaviour effectively
• Working closely with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson transitions and consistent learning
• Building your confidence and skills by working in real classroom settings

• Comfortable leading groups and encouraging student participation
• Clear communicator, adaptable, and able to stay calm under pressure
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping students succeed
• Engaging lessons across a range of subjects
