Primary Intervention Teacher - South Birmingham

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in South Birmingham on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT who is passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential through targeted intervention and small-group teaching.

The Role

As a Primary Intervention Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Work with pupils who require additional support to close learning gaps.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting interventions where necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and senior leaders.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Has a passion for supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
  • Is patient, nurturing, and committed to raising attainment.
