SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming primary school in Newham. The school is located a short walk from West Silvertown (DLR) station.
They are looking for a committed and dynamic teaching assistant to join them for the 2026/2027 academic year. The role will be to support a small group of key stage 1 students with Autism and other learning needs.
Further details:
- You will work with a small group of key stage 1 students who have Autism and/or other learning difficulties
- The role will begin on 2nd September 2026 until end of July 2027.
- Will be a 1- year fixed-term contract (with potential for permanency beyond that)
About you:
- Be patient, empathetic and genuinely passionate about supporting the developmental needs of children
- Have strong communication skills
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Be able to identity the needs of children and adapt your approach accordingly
- Have previous experience as a teaching assistant
