The Role

As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge young learners.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.

• Support pupils through an important stage of their primary education, including the transition from KS1 into KS2.

• Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

• Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.

We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2 (although strong ECTs are encouraged to apply).

• A strong understanding of early primary education and child development.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach to teaching.
