Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and dependable Primary Cover Supervisors to work across a range of friendly and welcoming primary schools in Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

Your Responsibilities

As a primary Cover Supervisor, you will;

• Deliver pre-set lessons in the absences of the class teacher
• Maintain a calm, engaging, and productive classroom environment
• Support pupils with their learning and encourage participation thought out the day
• Follow each school's policies and procedures, including behaviour management
• Adapt confidently to different year groups and classroom setting across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Provide clear feedback to teaching staff following each placement

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children in a school, Sport coaching, youth work or similar setting
• Is confident leading groups of children and maintaining positive classroom behaviour
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
• Is reliable, adaptable and enjoys working in different school environments
• Has a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's education
