Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and committed Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis across a supportive and inclusive Trust of schools in Wakefield. The Role

As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a variety of primary year groups.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual pupils and ensure all children are supported to achieve their best.
• Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
• Follow school policies and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils' confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency for pupils.
• Quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and colleagues across different school settings.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching within a primary school environment.
• A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and build rapport with pupils.
• A passion for helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Essential Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
