Secondary Teaching Assistant
Location: Hackney
Pay: £95-£110 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time | Long-Term

The Role

You'll work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed both academically and socially.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4.
  • Working with students of varying abilities both individually and in small groups.
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs.
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour expectations.
  • Preparing classroom resources.
  • Encouraging confidence, independence and resilience.
  • Helping pupils stay focused and engaged throughout lessons.
