Teaching Assistant
Location: Waltham Forest
Salary: £95-£110 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time | September Start
Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with an inclusive secondary school in Waltham Forest that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students throughout the academic year.
The successful candidate will become an integral member of the school's support team, helping students overcome barriers to learning while encouraging confidence, independence and academic progress.
Main Duties
- Support students during lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Provide one-to-one and small group academic support.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver differentiated learning.
- Support pupils with SEND including Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.
- Promote positive behaviour using restorative approaches.
- Encourage excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Support the school's wider pastoral and wellbeing initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff and families.

- Experience working with children or young people.
- Friendly, approachable and reliable.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Passion for education and inclusion.
