Location: Barnet, North London
Pay: £95-£115 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are working with welcoming and well-resourced Primary Special Schools in Barnet that are looking to appoint enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistants to join their supply team.

You'll be supporting pupils aged 4-11 with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), speech and language needs, and complex learning needs. Every day is different, making this an incredibly rewarding role for someone who enjoys making a genuine impact.

The Role

• Support pupils both 1:1 and in small groups throughout the school day
• Help deliver engaging, differentiated learning activities
• Promote communication, independence and social development
• Support pupils with sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing
• Assist with personal care where required
• Work closely with experienced teachers, therapists and other professionals

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care or youth work experience welcomed)
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
• Graduates considering a career in education are encouraged to apply
