SANZA Teaching Agency are excited to support a large, inclusive primary school in the London borough of Barking & Dagenham. If you are looking for a new and exciting teaching assistant opportunity where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young children with Autism and learning needs, this is the role for you.
The role:
- You will support key students from year 1 to year 6.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism and other learning needs, helping them access learning materials, as well as to develop social and communication skills.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and colleagues to ensure the students are receiving the best support and opportunity to succeed.
About you:
- Will have previous experience as a teaching assistant
- Have experience supporting children with Autism
- Will be patient, empathetic and flexible
- Be patient, compassionate and committed to inclusive education
