Part-Time EYFS Teacher - Banbury
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire | Part-Time | September 2026 Start | Permanent Preferred

We are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Banbury that is looking to appoint a Part-Time EYFS Teacher from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming school that is passionate about giving every child the best possible start through engaging, child-centred learning.

The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis and is seeking someone who is caring, creative and committed to helping young children grow in confidence both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role

  • Teach an EYFS class on a part-time basis from September 2026

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework

  • Create a nurturing, stimulating classroom where children feel happy and supported

  • Encourage learning through a balance of play, exploration and structured activities

  • Assess children's progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support every child

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and Early Years team

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching within an EYFS setting

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development

  • A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment

  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
