Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting English Teachers to work across a variety of secondary schools and academies throughout Cheshire and Merseyside. We work closely with partner schools that regularly recruit talented teachers for long-term placements, fixed-term contracts, permanent vacancies, maternity cover and daily supply throughout the academic year.

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching English within UK secondary schools
  • Can teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Have experience teaching KS5 (desirable but not essential)
  • Deliver engaging, challenging and inspiring lessons
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • Have a genuine passion for helping students develop confidence in reading, writing and communication
