Supply Teaching Assistant - East Riding

Are you a flexible and passionate Teaching Assistant seeking supply teaching opportunities in East Riding? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for dedicated Supply Teaching Assistants to join our network and cover a variety of Primary Schools across the East Riding area. We pay PAYE and from £95 per day. Longer term roles paid to scale.

The Role:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant in East Riding, your role will involve delivering engaging lessons across different subjects and key stages, as required by the schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for Teaching Assistants seeking flexibility, whether you're looking for day-to-day supply work, short-term assignments, or longer-term supply roles in the East Riding area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons effectively to small group interventions
  • Managing classroom behaviour according to school policies alongside the teacher
  • Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Adapting to the routines and expectations of different schools.
  • Providing feedback to schools regarding lesson delivery and student progress.
  • Supervising students and ensuring classroom order.

What We're Looking For:

  • Teaching Assistant Status or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience teaching in UK primary or secondary schools.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in various school environments across East Riding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and working with young people.
  • A professional and reliable attitude.
