Primary Teaching Assistant - Bury | Full-Time | September Start

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to work within a friendly and supportive primary school in Bury.

The school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic about helping children learn, develop and build confidence. You will work alongside experienced teaching staff and play an important role in supporting pupils throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with classroom activities
• Working with individuals and small groups
• Reinforcing learning delivered by the class teacher
• Helping pupils remain engaged and focused
• Supporting children's social and emotional development
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience working with children
• A positive and nurturing attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Patience and enthusiasm
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A flexible and proactive approach
• A genuine interest in primary education
