This is a role for someone who understands that working within a specialist SEN environment can be challenging. • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Building trusting and consistent relationships with pupils
  • Responding appropriately to challenging or distressed behaviour
  • Working alongside teachers, support staff and other professionals
  • Following individual education, behaviour and support plans

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in:

  • Specialist SEN or complex needs settings
  • Challenging behaviour or behavioural support
  • Residential or supported living environments
  • Healthcare or care-based roles
  • Youth work or similar support positions

Above all, you will need to be resilient, patient and genuinely committed to working with children and young people with additional needs.

You should be comfortable working in an environment where no two days are necessarily the same and where some situations can be physically and emotionally demanding.

What We Offer

  • £95-£120 per day, dependent on experience
  • Full-time, term-time working
  • The opportunity to work within a specialist SEN setting
  • Ongoing support from your dedicated SEN Consultant
  • The opportunity to develop further experience within complex SEN
