Year 6 Teaching Assistant - Blackburn (BB2)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a full-time Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Catholic school in the BB2 area of Blackburn, starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Position: Year 6 Teaching Assistant
• Location: Blackburn, BB2
• Start Date: September
• Hours: 09:00 - 15:30
• Days: Monday - Friday
• Contract: Full-time
• School: Catholic primary school

You will be working closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the Year 6 curriculum, providing additional help where needed and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

• Has previous experience working with children in a school or education setting
• Is confident supporting pupils in Year 6
• Is patient, enthusiastic and nurturing
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is committed to supporting children's learning and development
• Has a good understanding of safeguarding and professional conduct

The school is easily accessible by public transport from both Blackburn and Darwen, making it a convenient opportunity for candidates living locally. On-site school car parking is also available.
